The Broker - The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That should round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
