The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It says the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
Platforms
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That will round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Combine those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.
Safety
This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. That does not make it safe. It does factor into your decision.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.
